Description   This ball head is made from the latest metal (aluminum alloy) technology that provides super strong and sturdy construction and yet weighs only 8 oz. a amazing 70% less than a comparable unit. This makes it ideal for carbon fiber tripods or monopods with which light weight and strength are critical elements.The ball has a 25mm diameter which provides super smooth movement and super strong grip. The single lever allows quick action adjustment. The quick release plate is 2.1 x 1-1/2 inches with double lock for security. The base diameter of the head is 1-9/16 inches with 3/8 inch thread (we can provide adapter for 1/4" pod). This unit has a height of 3-1/4 inches. The load capacity of the head is 6 lbs.
